About us

Enteneo Group is our contribution to professional commodity risk management in CEE energy markets. We are the group of experienced specialists and entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills in energy wholesale trading and new commodity products and services development. After working for many years for leading international energy utilities and traders we decided to form our own company to pursue our vision: create professional external trading function for energy market participants.
At Enteneo Energy Trading we actively trade energy commodities such as power, natural gas and more. We are constantly able to price standard and non-standard products. We support our partners in building trading infrastructure, risk management tools, provide access to the market and optimal execution. We provide current knowledge about factors influencing energy prices. Our experience and continuous, active market presence helps us to take a practical approach to the challenges of our clients.


  • Janusz Kurzak - Managing Director

Graduated from Cracow University of Economics. He gained 15 years experience in the energy sector working for Enron, Sempra Commodities, RBS Sempra Commodities, JP Morgan and Freepoint Commodities. Janusz has multi-year positive track record in building up and managing trading desks for leading energy trading houses. He originated number of innovative transactions in cross-border power and gas trading and unique transactions supporting clients in risk management. Traded power in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands and Ukraine. Janusz has extensive network in Polish and European energy trading community. He holds Polish FSA securities broker’s and commodities broker’s licenses.

  • Dariusz Majkowski - Head of Trading

Graduated from Technical University of Wrocław, Dariusz started his career in energy business in the middle of 90’s and took part in deregulation of the power market in Poland. He was a member of the team that created Polish Power Exchange. As the power trader at Endesa and later at Morgan Stanley in London he gained extensive experience and knowledge of the power sector and energy markets across Europe. His investment banking experience brings wide network of contacts across power and finance industry. In 2012 Dariusz has built trading desk for ReAlloys, large power consumer in Poland and led successfully the team that substantially reduced cost of energy for the company. Since 2016 Partner in Enteneo Group – Head of Trading.

  • Piotr Wąsik - Head of Origination.

Piotr is a senior finance and energy risk management professional with over 15 years’ experience in leading European energy utilities and traders. At Vattenfall he took care of controlling and consolidated financial results of polish businesses. After that he was responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the CEE trading business and participated in the development of proprietary trading as well as portfolio management services. In 2013 Piotr joined Axpo Polska as Managing Director, where he successfully managed a turn-around of Axpo activities in Poland from small cross-border power trader to fully-fledged, leading originator and supplier of structured and tailor-made energy solutions. In addition he also heads a Wholesale Energy Market working group at Polish Traders Association. In 2017 Piotr joined Enteneo and is leading origination and sales efforts.

  • Tomasz Kłudka - Automated Trading

Tomasz has eight years of experience in the energy market. He began his career as a consultant with Baringa Partners where he focused on power market simulations and asset valuation. Later, as an analyst and a trader at EDF Trading, he designed and implemented an analytical framework for the Central Eastern European desk to enhance the process of trading strategy development. He gained further short- and long-term trading and risk management experience at Freepoint Commodities. Tomasz holds an MEng degree from the University of Oxford and has completed postgraduate courses in Mathematical Finance and Meteorology. In 2017 he started driving the development of Enteneo’s analytical and automated trading capabilities.
